What Our Client Says
Hostess Sally is the best. A million dollar view from the large covered veranda, with comfortable seating by the fireplace. Pool very near the veranda is very inviting, and we spent evenings poolside enjoying adult beverages, quiet conversation, and stargazing. The rooms were very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The bath had a large jacuzzi, a two headed shower, and another shower outside in the enclosed, private patio. Only three rooms so it isn’t crowded. Breakfast was served on the veranda and was delicious. My son, his wife, my wife, and I thoroughly enjoyed our four nights and will go back.
This beautiful bed and breakfast is the perfect location for a girls weekend or romantic getaway. Beautiful views, private pool, delicious breakfasts and so much to do in the area. We enjoyed hiking every day, massages outside by the pool and relaxing pool time with amazing views. Sally is the best hostess. You will not be disappointed!!
Our 2nd annual trip and stay. Sally is a wonderful hostess! It has everything we are looking for-beautiful, clean, quiet, pool, massages, hiking, amazing food and a million dollar view! We’ll be back!
Beautiful setting and establishment. Gorgeous rooms, pool, outdoor seating area and surrounding desert vistas. Sally is caring, thoughtful and a joy to spend time with. The food is incredible, courtesy of Esther. I came for a girls’ weekend, and it was wonderful. Enjoy the outdoor shower, the huge bathrooms and comfortable beds.We will be back!
Well located for visiting the parks nearby Lovely dining area The owner/host Sally was very anxious to ensure that everyone was OK A small drawback was that breakfasts are a little late at 9 am. Other guest we spoke with would prefer a slight wider choice of food items at an earlier time Recommended
This place is a hidden gem!!!! My husband and I went there for a couple staycation to celebrate his birthday and we were browned away by the beauty of the place. We are from Tucson and it felt like we were in a completely different place. So quiet and calm! The rooms pictures don’t do them justice, we loved the personal touches Sally put in the place. We will definitely be back!
We spent five wonderful nights here. The location is spectacular and the accommodations clean and comfortable The breakfasts are well prepared and delicious. Highly recommend this place. Sally is a great host. Great hiking nearby. We loved this place!
My husband and I recently enjoyed a 3-night stay in the Seguaro Suite at Cactus Cove to celebrate my husband's birthday. I knew the owner, Sally, from her wonderful dress shop in an historic house in the Denver area. Her impeccable taste is evident at the lovely bed and breakfast. Our comfortable, nicely-decorated suite had a wonderful private courtyard. We so appreciated the natural habitat and outdoor breakfasts. We enjoyed a drive up nearby Lemmon Mountain, Seguaro National Park and the Sonora Desert Museum. Sally was a delightful host with great tips and recommendations for a thoroughly enjoyable visit to beautiful Tucson.
We came to the desert from the Midwest and discovered tranquility. 🌴♥️🌵 Beautiful, Peaceful, Serene are just a few words to describe this hidden treasure. The million dollar mountain view, the beautiful landscape and the fabulous breakfasts are beyond compare! Our Innkeeper definitely has created a "Labor of Love" to which we will definitely return.
This was our second visit. The property is magnificent. We stayed in the Seguro Cactus Suite as before. Beautiful suite. Our host, Sally, went out of her way to make our stay memorable. She is a lovely lady. A great week. Hoping for many more. Alan and Carla. Union, Missouri
My husband and I loved Cactus Cove. Sally is a wonderful host who clearly puts a lot of care into this B&B. The rooms are great- we felt like we had plenty of privacy.... and the views are incredible! We happened to stay here when it randomly snowed! Lucky us!
The best places to stay embody the place you are. Staying with Sally at Cactus Cove exceeds this with flying colors and we couldn’t imagine a better place to experience Tucson. The B&B’s setting with views of the Catalina Mountains and its own desert gardens, teaming with life from hummingbirds to unique cacti, have been carefully planned and cared for, making you feel like you are staying in an oasis the desert. Furthermore, we looked forward to the chance to get to know Sally over a gourmet, warm breakfast, prepared by her and Esther, served on the beautiful patio each morning. Her warmth, thoughtfulness, worldly conversation, and good humor was a highlight of the trip itself. With only 3 rooms and serious procedures in place, we had no concerns about COVID while here and were able to fully enjoy our getaway. Trust us that you won’t regret your stay and will look forward for a chance to return.
We recently spent 6 nights at Cactus Cove. We came to Tucson from New England for a bit of warmth and sunshine and to start some early season cycling. Cactus Cove is perfectly located near the base of Mount Lemmon, close Saguaro Natl Park East and the Loop River cycling paths. The B&B is on a very quiet street with lots of wildlife and beautiful natural landscaping. What really made Cactus Cove perfect, though, was our host, Sally. She is a warm and friendly host who gave us great tips for the Tucson area and cooked healthy and delicious breakfasts each morning. We enjoyed hearing about her travels over the years and how she built Cactus Cove into the lovely place it is. We highly recommend it.
If you enjoy B&B's Cactus Cove is as nice as you will find in Tucson. Our room was immaculate and our breakfast was outstanding. The setting and view were great. ---- Thank you Sally for your hospitality.
I am so glad I found the place that was perfect for me, my husband and my brother in law. Everyone loves the resorts but they don't thrill me. We are bed and breakfast people. The location is in tanque Verde valley and if you like to hike, then it's a perfect spot. We hiked in sabino canyon and saguaro east, as well as driving up mt lemmon. It's easy to drive over to saguaro without paying fees to hike and park along the road of the trailheads, less busy during a weekday. Plenty of restaurants near here and a few further away, but my favorite was Feast. Vivace was wonderful as well. Back to cactus cove, we spent an few hours each afternoon taking in Sally's views and the comfort of her outdoor living. We we're lucky to hike AND spend a little time relaxing. Sally was just so accommodating to any need or desire we had, and she was a joy to be with, as well as learning a little about her life. She works hard here, and thankfully she likes sharing what she has here. Don't miss the pink mountains at sunset, and the golden sunrise as well creeping over the mountains. This is not a hotel! It's so much better!
This bed and breakfast is outstanding in every measurable way. The views are spectacular. The seating areas both inside and out are very comfortable and inviting. We loved the room. It was spacious and private. The breakfast is delicious and the service is excellent. The owner, Sally, is delightful. She genuinely wants her guests to have a great visit. Make sure you ask her for a tour of her cactus garden. The whole experience merits five stars. My wife and I have stayed at many B and Bs and this was one of the absolute best. Thank you Sally for a your hospitality and for creating a very special place.
Loved this place! Everything about it was great - the rooms, the outdoor seating area, the landscape, the views, the breakfast and the outdoor shower! Best thing though was the hostess and her ability to make you feel welcome and special. Hope to go back soon!
We had a wonderful three night stay at Cactus Cove. The property is gorgeous. There are million dollar views of the nearby mountains. The outdoor living area is great. Plenty of seating areas, a fireplace and a lovely pool, all surrounded by natural desert landscaping. We found great hikes in the Sabino Canyon Area as well as Saquaro National Park. This was our first trip to Tucson. We hope to visit again and will be sure to stay at Cactus Cove.
In the foothills below Mt Lemon in Tucson we found a gem of a B&B. The setting, perfect. The accommodations beautifully appointed with care and an eye for detail. Spectacular views and a private cactus botanical garden. The only thing that topped all of that was our hostess Sally. She is the true gem of this special place. If traveling in the Tucson area make this a destination.
Cactus Cove is a delight! Breakfast was served on the ramada with beautiful views all around. Our suite was nicely decorated and spacious. We enjoyed the private outdoor shower. My only regret is that we did so much sight-seeing that we didn't spend time just watching the lizards and hummingbirds and soaking up the serenity.
